India has a total forest cover of 24.56% which doesn't even meet the minimum requirement of 33%.
We have managed to destroy healthy ecosystems which in turn has severely affected the world's biodiversity. Almost 200 species go extinct EVERY SINGLE DAY. This number is 1000 times higher than the natural rate of extinction.
Our existing forests need all the protection that we can give them as cities continue to encroach on green spaces.
Climate crisis and environmental degradation are the biggest issues our planet is facing at the moment and unfortunately, not much is being done about it.
Though the government is trying to increase the nation's green cover, it is every individual's duty to do their bit in saving our environment and growing our forests.

We plant indigenous varieties of trees after a thorough research of the plantation site. Our aim is to plant 1500 trees in June 2020 and we need your help in reaching our goal.
